About Maria

Howdy! My name is Maria! I just moved to Chicago from Texas. 🤠 I currently work at a law firm in River North, but i’m hoping to save up some extra cash on the side for Law School and miscellaneous expenses. I previously dogsat in Austin, TX, mostly caring for senior dogs and families with multiple pals in the home 🏡😊 This included giving medicine, tailoring my approach to suit each pets individual needs and personality, and helping out around the house for my families who requested an extended period of stay. 🙂 I have a very calm personality, making its easy for most animals to relax around me (my friends refer to me as Human Melatonin!). I really appreciate structure and routine, but am just as flexible with spontaneous approaches :) Communication is key, and I ensure that owners are updated regularly with photos and messages, so you’ll know how your pet is doing. A typical day includes playtime, leisurely walks, and lots of affection to keep them happy and engaged. Of course, for my more senior friends, I am more than happy to lounge around and keep them company while their mom and dad are away. ☺️
